Meet Dr. Lunt
Dr. David Lunt graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1983. Previously he had graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology from Brigham Young University in 1979. He returned to his native California after graduation from these out-of-state schools and practiced in Beverly Hills and West Los Angeles before settling into the Northridge area. He has been well established in the San Fernando Valley for over 27 years now.
His training in dental school included the disciplines of Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, Pedodontics, and Oral Surgery among others. He was one of the first dentists to implement the use of porcelain veneers in Northridge when they were first developed and has been a leader in cosmetic dentistry since.
With his office located near California State University Northridge, CSUN, he has developed ties with the school and been the "athletic team dentist" for these last three decades helping student athletes with their dental related problems.
Dr. Lunt is an avid pilot holding several FAA ratings and uses this skill to do volunteer work for the Orange County Chapter of the Flying Samaritans organization. Pilots, medical and dental healthcare workers donate their time and skills traveling to Mexico and Central America to staff clinics in undeserved areas. Dr. Lunt does double duty when he personally transports nurses, doctors, dental hygienists and the like in private aircraft and then provides free dental services to the villagers once there.
